In the world of horse racing, Royal Ascot is the big cheese.

The 179 acre Ascot Racecourse was the first in Europe to attract more than 500,000 visitors in a year, and the prize money tops £4.5million.

Ascot has a reputation for attracting the elite: to gain entry to the Royal Enclosure, you must be recommended by someone who has been a member for at least four years, and applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis !

Yet even if you don't hold Royal Ascot tickets, it's still a great spectacle to show on a big screen in your venue.

The famous Ladies Day is an unmissable opportunity to marvel at elaborate hats, and of course for people of the betting mindset, the racing is quite interesting!

Whether the going is 'heavy', 'soft' or 'firm and hard', there are sure to be some great odds available on some of the world's finest horses.

If you are screening the races, make sure you tell people in advance, using a clever combination of eye-catching POS, social media wizardry and word-of-mouth.

You could offer some attractive offers on beers, wines and ciders, or even serve some posh nibbles, such as Prosecco, Pimms, and a High tea consisting of little sandwiches, fruity macaroons and chocolate éclairs.

We've gathered together a great selection of Royal Ascot catering supplies right here.
